Premium tickets and four day passes are now on sale for the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn from 6-9 March 2025.
With 700 days before the start of the competition, the race has begun for athletics fans to buy their tickets. Tickets can be purchased at <a href="https://www.european-athletics.com/competitions/european-athletics-indoor-championships-2025/overview" target="_blank" rel="noopener">apeldoorn2025.com</a> while regular tickets will be on sale as of March 2024.
From 6-9 March 2025, the Omnisport Apeldoorn will be at the centre of the athletics world and the Netherlands will turn orange again for a fantastic elite sports event. This will be the third time the Netherlands has staged the European Athletics Indoor Championships after prior editions in Rotterdam (1973) and The Hague (1989).
The ambition of the 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships is to create an unforgettable and inspiring event under the motto &lsquo;Moving People&rsquo; and to further position the sport of athletics among the young and old.
The championships is also unveiling a social activation programme to promote the championships and get people moving. Plans include a mass participation running event for 10,000 participants to promote the sport and additionally make the connection with the huge number of runners in the Netherlands.
At the 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Istanbul last month, the Netherlands won three gold medals and finished second on the medal table.
Femke Bol won gold in the 400m and anchored the Netherlands to gold in the 4x400m in a championship record and Douwe Amels claimed a surprise title in the high jump.
